UNITY / PROJECT ARCHIVE
Unity Games and Projects
From game jam ideas to our own game worlds: Here you’ll find our Unity projects and insights into their development. This archive summarizes development notes from 2021 to 2023. Earlier plans are not current release dates.
You can find the released Windows games on itch.io. There you can download them for free or support the development with a voluntary donation.
Crashlands 2D
Our first larger 2D adventure with Metroidvania and Soulslike elements originated from a game jam entry. Development was completed in 2023. A mobile version was also reportedly finished at that time; the release in the app stores was still pending.
From our game jams
Chaotic Cat
Created during the Brackeys Gamejam 2021.2, inspired by our cat Chiqui. Create as much chaos as possible within the time and complete all five levels. In the original game, achieving more than one star allowed entry into the global leaderboard.
Grow
Our entry for the Brackeys Gamejam 2022.2: Control a fish and its school, avoid obstacles and white sharks, and collect food to grow.
Rabbit in Autumn
For the Cozy Autumn Game Jam 2022, we developed a procedurally generated maze. Help Beetle find the little Juice bunnies and safely bring them back to the cave. Our own rabbits served as models.
These three games are demos and prototypes. They were meant for experimenting and learning; regular further updates were not planned at that time.
More playable experiments
- Crillion 3D: a 3D reinterpretation of Christian's first PC game from 1993 at HTBLA Wien 22.
- Jack and the Box: an early attempt at a 3D platformer.
- Soulskeeper 2D: another Metroidvania and Soulslike project.
- VR Mindclub: a club simulator for the Oculus Quest with virtual guests.
- Bubble Warrior: a Soulslike experiment in 2.5D.
There were also attempts with augmented reality and mobile apps. Two of the projects had their own in-game level editors; the Early Access dates planned for 2021 are part of the development history, not current announcements.
